You can probably also use VD or similar to 'decimate' the video and cut out every 25th frame. A Avisynth script would probably be better, though.... Do you like horror movies? - I've collected as many of the old Hammer films as I could find. There were quite a few in the Dracula series. I really like most of the 50's horror films. But I don't like the newer 'blood and gore' realistic movies. :(
One of my favorites is still the B+W 'Psycho'. Although that could really be classified as a mystery as much as a horror film ... Lossless Query - The only problem with that program is it will not check files on your pc . you have to actually burn them to a cdr to analyze them.

Thanks anyways.... Update: First close look at "TMPGEnc Authoring Works 4" - It still lacks some more advanced features - with those it would be the best DVD authoring around. Here are some of the features I would have expected to see after all this time:
- Support for more than 2 audio streams and subs !
- Support for more flexible menu creation - and multiple menu branching.
- Importing original menus and structure ... Looking 4 Smart Recorder with auto commercial crop - No.
Basically you are dreaming.
You will NOT find something like this that works 100%

I don't have Arcsoft's software installed but I grabbed and registered the .ax files.

... Subtitles that are UNripable?!? - thought the lines appear where they are supposed to be, theyr durration is utterly wrong.
If the starting times are right, you can load the sub in Subtitle Workshop and use:
Edit/Timings/Automatic durations ,
which estimates the durations based on the number of characters and words. You can change the formula it uses.

I love it!!... Can't rip Leatherheads - After having problems trying to back this disc up, I took Baldrick's advice and loaded the beta version of anydvd . This worked fine and after ripping it and then using dvdshrink , I have a playable disc!... Best FREE software to change a WMA file to an MP3?? - i don't know about being the best but i currently use "Switch sound file converter from http://www.nch.com.au/switch/ it reverts to the free version after trial expires, but still does the main file formats.
