Most times video cards output composite (RCA) through a S-video socket, not VGA.

I'm having a problem ripping a DVD. It's from a 3-DVD set of math tutorials, four separate lectures per disc. I've been using DVD Decrypter to extract the lectures, in File mode, with file splitting set to "none". Everything works fine with the first two DVDs, but on the 3rd, three out of the four .vobs have no audio when played through ... All right. Sorted it out. The problem was that some filename extension associations with RIFF handlers were missing in the Windows registry.
